A seam segment has gone wrong
R restarts the current segment and clears that segment's stitch samples and mistakes.
The checked sewing controller exposes a current-segment redo. Its reset clears the current segment's stitches, scoring samples and mistakes. This is narrower than remaking an entire dress, and is not evidence that every earlier completed segment can be reopened.
A finished dress weights seam accuracy by joined-edge count. One segment's percentage is therefore not automatically the entire garment's sewing score. Follow the displayed segment feedback instead of estimating quality from a single screenshot.

- Release fabric feed while still in the segment you want to retry.
- Press R and check that the current segment has restarted.
