Build 403: payment, lace tags and workshop interactions
The 22 September developer note explains seven specific changes; it is historical evidence, not a claim about the latest build.
The official note says accepted unsuccessful commissions should pay, some lace-trim items had their category tags corrected, and the next customer is summoned by ringing the bell. These changes affect how players interpret payment, trim requirements and a quiet shop.
It also lists a disappearing cursor fix in the cutting tutorial, enabling the shop tutorial's back button, a Single Keyhole Bodice fix, and shop-button interaction fixes for very wide aspect ratios. The short note does not describe the bodice defect in enough detail to infer changed tags, costs or geometry.
Build 403 is the developer's announcement label. The guide's installed Steam build and internal resource version are separate identifiers. The announcement was retrieved from Steam's public news API for this entry; no claim is made that these old defects still occur in the checked local build.
Key facts
- Affected area
- Commission acceptance/payment; lace-trim classification; bell; tutorial navigation; Single Keyhole Bodice; ultrawide shop controls.
- What still needs checking
- A listed fix does not diagnose today's symptom or establish a new scoring formula.
Steps and checks
- For a payment symptom, distinguish acceptance from the revision dialogue described in the outcome guide.
- For a lace-trim requirement, check the item's current catalog category rather than relying on an old screenshot or its name.
- If waiting for another customer, check the bell interaction in your installed build.
- When comparing an old report with your game, keep the announcement date, Steam build and internal version distinct.
