The fabric rotates but does not sew continuously
Rotation, fabric feed and speed use different controls in the checked input logic.
Dragging with the left mouse button rotates the cloth around the needle. Holding Space or the right mouse button feeds it at the current speed. Rotating alone is not a continuous feed command.
W/S, Up/Down, or the speed control changes the speed setting. Scrolling either way produces a short feed pulse rather than changing that setting. These bindings were checked in code; follow the prompts in your installed build if they differ.
Key facts
- Checked rule
- Left drag / A–D: rotation; Space / right mouse: feed; W–S: speed.
- What still needs checking
- These are checked bindings, not a promise of automatic sewing or perfect accuracy.
Steps and checks
- Set a slow feed speed with W/S, Up/Down, or the speed control.
- Hold Space or right mouse to feed while steering with the rotation controls.
- Release feed when repositioning; use a wheel pulse only when a brief advance is intended.
