Enough panels use the right fabric, but the percentage fails
Material and colour requirements count garment area, and multicolour fabrics divide their area among listed colours.
Four small lace panels do not necessarily cover more area than one large non-lace panel. Purchased metres, panel count and the fabric shares used for style scoring are not the denominator for fabric-type or colour requirements.
If a fabric lists two colours, the requirement calculation gives each half of that fabric's panel area. Use the catalog's registered colours, not just the colour that looks dominant in a swatch. A lace-trim accessory is also distinct from a lace fabric panel.
Key facts
- Checked rule
- Whole-garment panel area determines material and colour percentages.
- What still needs checking
- The public data does not provide a complete mesh-area calculator for arbitrary mixed fabrics.
Steps and checks
- Identify whether the brief asks for fabric area, colour area, accessory count, or trim length.
- Check each chosen material's registered fabric type and colour list in the catalog.
- Put the required material on a meaningful portion of the garment, then verify the game's final feedback; the planner does not infer panel area from metres.
